			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>The Executive MBA programme office is delighted to offer scholarship support for the September 2009 (SEMBA2011) for the female participant who has best demonstrated leadership potential and commitment to support the ongoing success of the Executive MBA programme.</strong> This substantial scholarship of up to £23,850 (the final award to be determined at the review stage) will be deducted from the balance of the first year tuition fees for the programme.</p>
<p><span id="more-13"></span><strong>Who is eligible?</strong><br />
Women who have been accepted for SEMBA 2011 and who are fully self-funding. Candidates may submit a scholarship application at the time of submitting their EMBA application, however essays will only be considered for the award if candidates have been offered and have accepted their place on the programme by the scholarship deadline. <p><strong>Criteria for awarding the scholarship</strong><br />
The scholarship will be awarded to an appropriate female candidate on the basis of future professional and leadership potential as demonstrated by the quality of the essay submitted in support of the scholarship application, and a proven track record of success, (i.e. educational and professional background) demonstrated at the EMBA application and interview stages. The Scholarship Committee will also consider the original and personal contribution to the ongoing success of the Executive MBA expressed through the essay and to which the scholarship winner will commit as an ambassador of the EMBA programme. <p><strong>Judging panel</strong><br />
The judging panel is made up of members of the Admissions Committee and includes representatives from the Sloan and Executive MBA Admissions, Marketing and Programme Management Teams, Faculty and Career Services.</p>
<p><strong>How to apply Scholarship for women</strong><br />
You must submit the following documents:</p>
<p>    * Completed scholarship application form<br />
    * A short essay of not more than 1,000 words (please supply the word count) in support of your application for the scholarship award. The topic of the essay is:</p>
<p>‘As a female leader, please outline how you will personally support the ongoing success of the EMBA programme’.</p>
<p><strong>Deadline for submission, Scholarship for women</strong><br />
We must receive your scholarship application before 12 noon on Monday 13 July 2009. The decision will be communicated to applicants by 17.00 on Friday 17 July 2009.</p>
<p>Candidates will need to have their funding in place and make all the necessary payments as outlined in the fee schedule. The full amount of the award will be deducted from the balance of the first year tuition fees for the programme.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Beasiswa Bantuan Program Pasca Sarjana (BPPS) Ditjen Pendidikan Tinggi (Dikti) atau dikenal dengan beasiswa BPPS ditujukan bagi dosen atau tenaga pengajar yang berstatus Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) untuk program pasca sarjana.</strong></p>
<p>BPPS Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi hanya diberikan kepada dosen yang mengikuti pendidikan pascasarjana, baik magister (S2) maupun doktor (S3), pada program studi yang diselenggarakan secara reguler dan telah memperoleh akreditasi pada jalur akademik oleh Badan Akreditasi Nasional Pendidikan Tinggi (BAN-PT).</p>
<p><span id="more-11"></span>Program studi yang akan dipertimbangkan untuk mendapatkan prioritas dalam seleksi calon penerima BPPS adalah program studi dalam bidang ilmu yang yang memiliki nilai strategis bagi pembangunan nasional, seperti: teknologi, MIPA, pertanian, sosial dan ekonomi, kesehatan dan pendidikan.</p>
<p>Pada tahun 2009 jumlah BPPS mahasiswa baru untuk S2 sebanyak 5.500 orang, sedangkan untuk S3 sebanyak 2.000 orang. Total 7500 alokasi beasiswa BPPS 2009. Pengalokasian Distribusi BPPS tersebut dibagi menjadi dua bagian, yaitu :</p>
<p>   1. Dialokasikan kepada Program Pascasarjana PTN/PTS yang memenuhi syarat. Cara ini sama dengan pola yang selama ini berjalan.<br />
   2. Dialokasikan kepada PTN dan PTS pemilik dosen (dikordinasi oleh Kopertis).</p>
<p><strong>Persyaratan Umum penerima beasiswa BPPS Dikti antara lain:</strong></p>
<p>   1. Beasiswa Pendidikan Pascasarjana (BPPS) Ditjen Pendidikan Tinggi pada saat ini hanya diperuntukkan bagi dosen Perguruan Tinggi Negeri, dosen Perguruan Tinggi Swasta (Dosen PNS Dpk, dosen Tetap Yayasan yang telah mempunyai NIK Yayasan serta telah memiliki angka kredit jabatan akademik dosen minimal Asisten Ahli 100), dan sebagian dosen IAIN/STAIN yang berstatus PNS yang mengikuti program S2<br />
   2. Dosen PNS yang berasal dari Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Sunan Gunung Jati Bandung, Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Alauddin Makassar, Sultan Syarif Qasim Pekanbaru dan Universitas Islam Negeri Malang yang sudah berubah status kelembagaannya dari IAIN/STAIN, dapat diusulkan sebagai peserta S3 calon penerima BPPS<br />
   3. Permohonan untuk memperoleh BPPS Ditjen Pendidikan Tinggi harus mendapat persetujuan dan diajukan oleh Rektor/Ketua Perguruan Tinggi asal kepada Direktur Program Pascasarjana yang dituju. Khusus peserta yang berasal dari PTS, persetujuan dan usulan BPPS tersebut harus direkomendasi oleh pihak Kopertis Wilayah asal perguruan tinggi peserta</p>
<p><strong>Pendaftaran Calon Penerima Beasiswa</strong><br />
Penyaringan dalam penerimaan calon penerima program Beasiswa BPPS dilakukan berdasar pada:</p>
<p>   1. Prestasi akademik selama menempuh pendidikan program sarjana<br />
   2. Keterkaitan bidang ilmu program S2 yang ditempuh dengan bidang ilmu S1-nya dan atau bidang ilmu program S3 yang ditempuh dengan bidang ilmu program S1/S2 dari peserta.<br />
   3. Tempat yang tersedia.</p>

<p><strong>The Exeter MBA</strong></p>

<p><span id="more-9"></span><strong>MBA Professional Scolarship  2009</strong></p>
<p>The Business School is awarding twelve Professional Scholarships for the 2008/9 academic year to students on our Post-Experience MBA programme.</p>
<p>These scholarships of £5,000 each will be available for MBA students starting the Full-Time programme in September 2009.</p>
<p>Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of the contribution applicants can make to the programme, with special attention being given to the quality of previous work experience.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Every year, with the support of the Belgian Directorate-General for Development Cooperation (DGDC), VLIR-UOS awards scholarships to students from developing countries to study one of the 15 International Course Programmes (ICPs) or one of the 6 International Training Programmes (ITPs).</strong> The ICPs and ITPs target people from the South with a responsible position in civil society (at a university, school, NGO, ministry, etc).</p>
<p>Each year there are a maximum of 180 scholarships available for first-year ICP students and a maximum of 70 scholarships for ITP participants.</p>
<p><span id="more-5"></span><strong>Training Programmes (ITP)</strong><br />
ITPs are short-term training programmes whose main focus is transferring skills rather than knowledge. The International Training Programmes are designed for people from developing countries with a certain degree of professional experience.</p>
<p>The ITPs aim at transferring knowledge and skills, and create the possibility for cooperation and networking.</p>

<p><strong>Master Programmes (ICP)</strong><br />
ICPs are master programmes, lasting one or two academic years, all of which lead to a masterâ€™s degree. They focus on specific problems of developing countries. The main target group for the courses are students from developing countries, although the courses can also be attended by Belgian students or students from other countries.</p>
<p>The ICPs aim to provide a training in such a way that the knowledge that the students acquire is disseminated and applied in the home institution and country of origin.</p>
<p><strong>General remark</strong><br />
As an official body administrating government funds, VLIR-UOS uses on this website the qualifications attributed in the Flemish Register for Higher Education. This database is governed by the Dutch-Flemish Accreditation Organisation (NVAO).<br />

<p><strong>ICP-Ph.D. programme</strong><br />
Definition<br />
To enable promising graduates of the International Courses (ICPs ICPs are Master programmes that receive institutional support from VLIR-UOS, see list of Master programmes) to make a Ph.D. at a Flemish university, VLIR-UOS launched its ICP Ph.D. programme in 2003.</p>
<p>Starting from the academic year 2002-2003, a maximum of ten Ph.D. scholarships can be granted every academic year to excellent ICP graduates from a developing country.</p>
<p>The ICP Ph.D. programme aims to institutionally strengthen universities or research institutions in the South through capacity building, by upgrading local academic personnel by offering Ph.D. scholarships. Only ICP graduates that are nationals from a developing country are eligible for an ICP Ph.D. scholarship. See the call for all criteria.</p>
<p><strong>Practical</strong><br />
An ICP Ph.D. scholarship consists of two two-year terms, and cannot be extended.</p>
<p>It is a ’sandwich’ scholarship, which means that in principle two-thirds of the research is conducted at the local institution and one-third at the Flemish university.</p>
<p>The scholar is free to choose the periods of his/her stays in Belgium and his/her home country, albeit in agreement with both supervisors. However, for practical reasons, the scholar is obliged to come to Belgium at the start of the scholarship, i.e. on 1 October of the reference year.</p>
<p>Funding is provided both on the level of the scholar as well as on the level of the local resp. the Flemish supervisors unit. See the call for more details.</p>
<p>A call is launched in November. Deadline for applications is February (varies per Flemish university see the call). Selection takes place in May. Selected Ph.D. researchers start in October of that year.</p>

Onassis Public Benefit Foundation operates an annual Programme of Research Grants and Educational Scholarships addressed to foreign (non-Greek) Members of Academies of Sciences, Scholars, Researchers, Elementary and Secondary School Teachers of the Greek language, Artists and Postgraduate Students.</strong></p>
<p>We enclose herewith the text of the Announcement the fifteenth  (15th) Foreigners’ Fellowships Programme , for the academic year 2009- 2010. We look forward to your cooperation in bringing the foregoing to the attention of those interested, to apply to us not later than January 31st, 2009. The application forms are available at www.onassis.gr</p>
<p><span id="more-3"></span>The Foundation announces the fifteenth (15th) annual Programme of research grants and educational scholarships starting on October 1, 2009 which is addressed to non Greeks, full Members of National Academies, University Professors of all levels (Ph.D. holders), postdoctoral researchers (Ph.D. holders), artists, elementary and secondary school teachers of the Greek language as a foreign one, post-graduate students and Ph.D. candidates.</p>
<p><strong>FIELDS/SECTIONS OF RESEARCH OR STUDY</strong></p>
<p>The Programme covers the following fields only:<br />
Humanities: Philology, Literature, Linguistics, Theology, History, Archaeology, Philosophy,<br />
Educational Studies, Psychology<br />
• Political Science: Sociology, International Relations<br />
Arts: Visual Arts, Music, Dance, Theatre, Photography, Film Studies</p>
